The Shopping Bag is handmade in the Philippines from juice boxes that are discarded as either trash or factory defective material. The sale of this product gives gainful employment to women in an area with extremely low employment levels and high poverty levels. Women are taught bag making skills which provides them with income that puts food on the table, provides school fees for their children’s education and hope for a better way of life.
